How Does It Work?

In-floor radiant heating involves supplying heat directly to the floor or to panels that are installed in the wall or ceilings of your home. It is more effective than baseboard heating and depending on the room, sometimes more efficient than forced air heating because no energy is lost through the duct work.

If you have a room addition, extending the existing central heating system may be impractical so installing radiant heating floors would be a great solution and you could also consider other options like mini split heat pumps. There’s are many possibilities to create the perfect heating and cooling comfort in your home.

Forced Air

Works with any kind of flooring, including basement and garage concrete slabs

Doesn't use blowers and won't circulate dust which in turn irritates allergies

Heated stairs create a safe walking area that normally would be covered in ice or snow

Takes the morning chill out of your bathroom and kitchen

Radiant Heating is compatible with a variety of floor coverings including, hardwood, carpet, vinyl, ceramic, tile and natural stone.

Slab Option

This is a wet installation method and is mainly used for basement floors, utility buildings and commercial projects. The pipes are installed in the slab and can be done at or below grade and in most cases, does not involve any design change to the slab.
